Hey everyone. On a previous post I mentioned I was having horn problems. Thanks for the advice you gave since I found the problem - bad horn. Now I need to replace it but my horn is an older model that isnt shown on the website anymore. I have a 2000 Pantera III and this is the original horn. Will either of the two horns shown on the parts page fit my boat without any issues? Which would be better for my boat? Thanks.Matt
my dealer has suggested that a screw used to tune the horn has fell out or, loosened up. if you can hear the solenoid click it is usually the screw. put it back in , tune the horn on the deck use lock tite to secure it. I hope this works!! Pete
That horn is probably not an easy replacement. BCB probably does not have this horn and we dont recall, though we think or AFI we think is the brand. It is probably listed on the horn somewhere.
They should take yours back and they cant buy single horns reasonable and they would never go through the bulk order in time. The horns were not reliable and that is the reason for the change. Of course you have that figured out now.
have to agree with that not reliable work fine then out Im on my 3rd but aqua signal took back my 2nd as it lasted like 4 months Im thinking next time leave the dead one in there and mount a horn up by the bow let the sound come out the cup holder or something
