Swing away tongue pivot

The swing away tongue on my trailer (2008 tandem axle) is pretty hard to fold. What is the best way to lubricate the pivot?

Try to spray all up in the cracks the best you can. I guess the BEST way would be to take the bolts out and lube them good.But Ive been able to spray in the cracks enough to keep them lubed.

Thank you polaris. The pivot would be a great spot for a grease zerk.

I would spray some pb blaster in the cracks to get it free. After that remove the bolt and apply anti seize between the hinge and in the bolt hole.

I open it up and use white lithium grease.

Thank you Toad and Redngoo! I dont know why I didnt think of doing that. I have a big bottle of anti seize in the barn.

Where i work all the undercarriage hardware gets anti seize on it. Anything that gets 50000 hours running in dirt,rock, mud and etc. And comes back with it still there gets my vote.
