Quest Sanctioning Request Questions

1. A buddy of mine bought an older model PII a while back. What exactly does he have to do to get ready in case he wins a sanctioned tournament? 2. Can I still request sanctioning of a series as a Cougar owner now that we have a Bass Cat dealer in Arizona?He is about 180 miles away from me, and I have heard absolutely nothing about them in this market area. In addition they have their own local series and lakes, and I rarely if ever fish in that area. 3. Do I need to send in my Quest registration every year or only if I buy a new boat? 4. There is a low price local series (not mine) that has been pretty consistantly getting 35 boats. It has 11 points tournaments per year and one “Presidents Choice” tournament through out the season. a. Can I request all of the tournaments of this series or only 6-7 of them? b. Can I request that the “Presidents Choice” also be sanctioned? The reason I ask is that no new members may join the club just to fish that tournament. Only people who had joined and fished tournaments previously in the season. The “Presidents Choice” is a “free” tournament open to anybody who has fished previously in the season. Bob,I will try to answer these in the order you asked:1. Your buddy needs to register with us to become a Quest member to qualify Winning a Quest tournamnet and receiving those incentitives. He can Call Marcy after Wednesday (dealer meetings thru Wednesday) the number is 870-481-5135, M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm CST. She will need his serial number, complete mailing address and $100 fee.Or, he may fill complete the form on the Quest site and send it in by regular mail. 5th line entry down on the Quest site.2. If over 100 mi from you, then yes you may sanction up to 6 events within the series.3. Yes, sanctions are only good for that posting, one annually.4. All Quest sanctioned tournaments must be open to any Bass Cat Owner who is a Quest member.4a. See #2 above.4b.
