After a few weeks of group input and voting, we have selected this years lake and date to hold our Inaugural Texas BassCat Owners Event!Date: November 14th (Sunrise to 3) Lake: Cedar Creek (Fishermans Wharf)Entry Fee: $100.00 Per boatFirst off, 15% of all the entry fees will be donated to a charity (www.ywam.com). This entry fee also pays for food and beverages after the weigh in. We will be having a cookout with plenty of hot dogs and burgers to go around. Fishermans Wharf will be able to provide us a site where we can launch, have a weigh in, and a cook out on their campsites. They have sites available for RVs to rent.We would like to thank everyone for voting and giving their input. Now for the important part, the BCB owners showing up to make it a success. To award BCB owners for making the trip, we have obtained sponsorship through some great companies to give you even more incentive to come. We would like to sincerely thank these companies for their support. They have gone above and beyond to help make this the best event we could put on. They will allow for us to have every angler walk away with a great product and some great prizes to give away. There is no exclusivity to this. All our welcome to help make this event the best possible. We will be able to give away a care pack to every angler that attends. This wont be the junk off the back shelf. This will be BCB items, trophy baits, and new products to use.Any and all BCB boat dealers are welcome to come to our event. Due to proximity to the event, Rockwall Marine will be our dealer host. Rockwall Marine brings years of experience and dedication to the BCB family to the event. They will be on hand to answer questions about the 2010 line up of boats. [size:11pt]Not to mention Mr. Yetts will be bringing his 2010 Jaguar to the event to let TBCOE get a glance at the model. It is still in the build process and I cant wait to lay eyes on her. We would also like to welcome BCB Pro Staffer and Elite Series Pro James Niggemeyer!James has been in a BCB for 12 years now, and bring extensive knowledge of our boats the table. We are teaming with James and his favorite charity, Youth With a Mission. 15% of all donations and entry fees will go directly towards the amazing work this organization is doing. Please take a moment to read about this charity and take a look at James website!www.lakeforkproguide.com www.ywam.comThis is just the first round of announcements. In the following days we will be releasing prizes, guaranteed 1st place $$, rules, and lodging information. We are doing everything in our power to make this the best event possible. Like we have said, it is up to YOU, the owners, to get it there. Thanks again for staying tuned and putting this down on your calender.Last edited by Imshifti3 on October 27th, 2009, 12:17 am, edited 5 times in total.

We have members from all over our state and some from out of state lending us their support. Make the drive, enjoy the community, catch some fish, walk away with some great new gear.
I spoke to James N. earlier today and I definitely plan on being there. This looks to be a great event, we just need to get the word out. As soon as the info is available I will post it to Texas Tournament Zone. (TTZ1.com) Looking forward to it! James Roberts
James, glad to hear you spoke with James N. Thomas had a really good conversation with him a few days ago right before we rolled out the official annoucement. He and his family are very excited about coming to be with us and we are THRILLED to have them. Most of the details are in the post above. Here is a quick snapshot: November 14th Cedar Creek Lake – Texas – Fishermans Wharf – Launch Site $100 per boat – Boat must be a Bass Cat with verifiable ownership through Bass Cat of the person in the boat Prizes and gifts for everyone. Here is a link you may want to visit (May have to copy and paste) for more information. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubb … /4044077/1 Help us get the word out. We have had a very good early response. Final details are still being worked out daily but things are moving along nicely. We REALLY believe and hope that this will be an Event that those who attend, will talk about very positively for a long time to come. I know those of us working behind the scenes are certainly working toward that end.Jmtfrisco, Texas
BCB Family, if you are from Texas (Or any other state) and know of anyone who might want to fish with us and be a part of TBCOE on Nov. 14th, we would sure appreciate you helping us communicate to everyone about the Event. We have had a very good initial response with people already signing up and committing to be there. We are working hard to provide a FUN event for everyone who attends. Thanks for your help in getting the word out. We are especially happy that Elite Bass Pro and Bass Cat Pro Team member James Niggemeyer and his family will be joining us for TBCOE. James is a real stand up guy and was excited about this event. Yall Come….wed love to have you!!!Jmtfrisco, Texas
Is this going to be a team or individual event? Unless I missed it I cant find that information in the posted information. If this is a team event, do both members of the team have to be BCB owners or just one? Also waiting for more info. on motels etc. in area. Never been there before.
Conroeman, thanks for asking. It can be Team or individual. We have encouraged everyone to bring along a non- BassCat friend if possible or a family member. The Event can also be fished individually. Thats why we made it a $100 per boat. Also, at least one of the people in the Bass Cat boat must be the owner (Registered with Bass Cat) of the boat. If solo works better for someone…then thats fine. Bottom line, we want you to come be with us and enjoy what is shaping up to be a really enjoyable Event. Weve just finished our first week of sign up and commitments. We should have some info. up the first of this next week on Motels, etc. We will be launching out of Fishermans Wharf. Conroeman, we would love to have you and hope you plan to make it.Last edited by JMTFrisco on October 18th, 2009, 2:24 pm, edited 1 time in total.Jmtfrisco, Texas
