Is it worth the extra cost? Anybody have an idea what the cost is?Dan

yes and get at least two coats. reduces rock chips tremendously.

We like three coats though we just cant get that over to see the value.

Can you add extra coats of the Gatorhyde to a trailer after it has left the factory?2017 Eyra / 250 Merc Pro XS

Ok! So is one coat of Gator Hyde standard on the trailers? and you pay extra for extra coats or is it an option to just get one coat and then extra for additional coats?Dan

Best trailer coating ever. Really works to keep those rock chips away. Gator Hyde is great. Bass Cat trailers are the best on the market.

Galvanized trailers do age after a while. I have a 2002 Sabre with a galvanized trailer under it, and I am just about ready for a replacement. ( I got the rig brand new in April 02.)
