All right, no fuse…that helps a bit. smbass, my units are networked with a “double T”. The front unit has an internal antenna (which is not currently connected and @ Lowrance) and has the black cable running to the “double T”. The dash unit (x27) has the black cable running to the “doubleT”. The third cable from the “double T” runs to the rear receiver (antenna). The “double T” has a terminator on the last outlet. Neither of the NMEA wires coming out of the dash unit are connected (cut and taped off). The dash unit powers up and has sonar….just “gps module not found”. There is no power coming out or into the “double T”….and no power coming out of either bow unit cable or rear mounted receiver cable. I cant figure out how the rear mounted receiver gets power…thought the NMEA (black, red, and shield) had to be mounted to power source for the receiver to work (guess not since its work fine in the past w/o being powered). Wondering if the bow units power source is tied to the rear receiver??? I have tried hooking up the receiver to both the “double T” and the bow cable…nothing, but that figures since I tested both cables with an ohm meter and got nothing. Seems to me it has to be the dash unit itself (which I doubt) or the intial cable coming out of the dash unit to the “double T” (which I also doubt). Got me puzzled since I have never had the bow unit removed and tried to operate the dash unit…with the bow unit @ Lowrance, I suddenly get “gps module not found” on the dash unit……seems too coicidental for two units to go down at the same time.
