We are not aware of one in the Jackson, MS area? There are not many Phelixs in the market. It competes with inexpensive aluminum jon boats and is considerably more. Though it fishes much cooler than aluminum. Runs over 20 and up to 30 with ss props.
If for any reason you come to the NC/SC area anytime soon, let me know. Ive got a customer who runs a Phelix here in town. He loves to boat! Weve added an anchor and black lights to the whole boat. It is a sweet rig! Andy Greene Greene Boat & Motor 828-286-2290Andy Greene Greene Boat & Motor 828-286-2290 http://www.greeneboats.com

Thanks Doug, let me work on it.
It may not be that close to you (Alabaster, AL). There is a new 2008 rigged and ready for sale at fantastic price. It was the prize boat at the Guntersville Snag Proof tourney this past weekend. See the ad at http://www.probass.net/boats4sale/detail.php?AdNum=67313>`·._ .·´Ż>`·. _ .·´Ż·. >

Wow that is impressive i sent an email to the parts department yesterday morning with several questions. I understand yesterday was Sunday but today is Monday businesses are generally open on Mondays. Anyways since the parts department was of no service to me maybe someone else will be willing to share some knowledge with me. Question 1. Where can I get exact matches for gelcoat colors. 2.Where can I get the factory drain assembly for the floor of the boat? 3.What are the dimensions of the seat that the basscat store carries? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
They are probably busy helping customers via the phone. You may want to call the phone number posted above for answers to your questions. I also recommend calling when they are open. Doing so will save you the trouble of posting about how nobody answered the phone after hours. Good luck. ps – I look forward to seeing pics of your Phelix when you complete your project. They were short handed this morning due to a person missing. Those emails on to to one person at each category. They were absent. 1. Bass Cat carries matches as close as possible on older flake.2. Those will depend as the original drain assembly was a piece of fiberglass flaked to match with a Perko cover. 3. The seats will have to be custom made to fit your Phelix. The same lady still build the replacements today that did then.
Yeah I didnt really mean to complain, Im just a little frustrated. Im tired of looking for parts that “may” fit. I want to get the phelix better than the original was. So far it has been a slow process because I work 14 on 14 off. When I bought it obviously it hadnt been taken care of in some time. First off i had to strip the boat down. Had to remove all the old rotten carpet… removed all the controls the motor which was grossly overpowered for the boat. Then i began preping the gelcoat for paint. There was considerable damage to the topside so i basically had to remove practically every bit of the old brown gelcoat. A lot of work went into it so im not to keen on the idea of putting some subpar paint back on there. I figure it is a Basscat and it should look like one. After i got done with the sanding and smoothing off the fiberglass i got everything all primed up. Since i got done with the priming I completely removed the floor and replaced that, and got that all smoothed out. Looks pretty good. I started this weekend on the fenders… It is crazy expensive to buy new ones. The starboard side fender was damaged pretty good, broke in a good 5 pieces I got it all together looks pretty good. Still got a long road ahead. I intend to completly get it right though I will continue to post pictures as i progress.
