Wow theyre proud of that battery… What is the cca specs for the verado? My ProXs I wanna say calls for 950. I have an interstate that is 1100 I believe and half that cost.

Scott, search Full River AGM and see whats over there. Brands there might be different than here and most anything East Penn is good also.

Batteries plus in Tyler had some when I was looking for a good Agm. The guy there said they sucked and had numerous warranty claims.

The X2 at Batteries Plus is a rebadged 31 series Northstar, one of the best AGMs around. It has specs that are a little better than the Sears PM1/Odyssey, and an excellent warranty. It would be my first choice as an AGM.

In Deka, the AGM battery that should work for you is the 9A31 Intimidator. The specs are not as good as the Northstar/X2, but it should also be a lot less expensive. If I remember, OReillys sells that Deka Intimidator (rebadged) for around 230 dollars.

If that X2 is a NorthStar, then those are Missouri made and are a military battery company. They will be as good as any battery can be. Better than anything in AGM batteries we would expect.

Ive had my 31 x2 since may and I am very pleased. Its a hell of a battery.

Ill also add that its the best warranty ive seen out there. The little plastic handle on it scare the crap out of me though, its a seriously heavy battery.
