Quick question for Puma/Cougar owners who have power poles

I have a 14 Puma FTD with 8 Blade. From concrete floor to top of pole is exactly 7.

Be careful about a straight up measurement. Driveways with inclines can have more or less measurement. Regardless you can let the poles down to clear the door. Ceiling wise you should be OK as long as the ceiling is at least 8

I have 2010 model 8 poles and they are 6-7.5″ to top.They are mounted on a slidemaster jackplate and set as low as theyll go with jackplate flush.I have trailer tires (instead of car tires) which are a little taller so with car tires they may be 1/2″ lower.

Thanks for the replies guys… one last question… those of you with 8 ft poles, did you ever wish you had 10ft poles? My garage clearance will not be an issue with either other than I would have to lower 10 footers slightly to clear the door frame. Just trying to figure out if the 10 footers are worth it.

To much weight to carry around for me. Very few times that 10ers wouldve helped me.

I have 2 10ft power holes and there are many times I wish they could go deeper. I just spent a day on Oneida Lake in upstate NY and without those 10 footers it would have been a very frustrating day. The poles are a great fishing tool. You can lower the poles with the remote from your truck to clear a door if needed.
