I was there in October of last year with my bass club out of Florida. We stayed at the Island Cove Marina on the lower end of the lake. It has its own launching ramp, well stocked marina store, Outboard mechanics, plenty of covered boat stalls and trailer parking, and a good Mexican Restaurant on site. The motel rooms on the property have been recently renovated and are reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay very much.
