Too funny, whats the anchor on the lefts weight and how much rope do you recommend? lol.

Im about 172-175 depending on when my last trip to a mexican joint was.The one on the left is gonna need chain….maybe a come-a-long?Naw- I have used an anchor instead of a pp for windy launches by myself. I would get one of those plastic coated round ones if thats what you want it for. Ive got a big nasty anchor for my ski boat and dont wanna think about all the mud and crap Id drag into my boat not to mention if that sucker even TOUCHED the glass.C.O.D. Jr. III

I am leaning toward the vinyl coated one also, just not sure about what weight to choose. Planning a late season trout trip before the season ends on Lake Crowley in the Sierras. The is not to deep but the wind will often come up and I will be flyfishing off the deck of the Cat.

The one on the left you will need a sky-hook ! And when you dont feed him he gets anxiety, and scratches the hell outta the dash until you pull over and feed him ! I have 100 ft of 3/8 braided rope and I think the anchor is 15 lb round vinyl cover anchor

scubaman thank you 15 lb like yours sounds like the way to go. Do you also use the vinyl coated chain also, as I am thinking 6 ft of chain should do it ahead of the rope.
