Link to post covering topic of logos and tag lines
The 35th Anniversary logo was design to incorporate all of the Bass Cat logos & trademarks which have been used in the companies history.
In this logo are:
1. The new BCB Logo
2. The Bass Cat Logo of the 80’s
3. The Bolt side stripe was included in 1977
4. The Fish in the center of the BCB is the second generation of the original
Bass Cat logo with the Cat’s head in front of the Bass Cat.
5. The 35th Anniversary Logo is designed onto the Cats Head of the
Original very large white Bass Cat decals. Which were used from 1971 through sometime in 1972.
We thought about adding more like the tag lines and signatures, though there is only so much room on a decal.
This decal will be on all boats in the 2007 Model Year. And it will be incorporated into more areas on the 35 Anniversary boats. Such as Carpet Logo, Fenders, Front Winch Step, and front deck side panels.
The logo will be featured as it is in the right hand lower corner of the web page on all future advertisements and brochures in 2007.
Thanks,
BCB
Post #2
We pulled this off another post to include in this topic.
We over the course of the years have had a number of tag lines.
The oldest is the “Total Performance Bass Boats”, which was “High Performance Bass Boats” in the late 70’s. There were a couple of others which did not catch on in the past also.
The newer, over the last 25 years or so, tag lines are the “Where Quality is a Redeeming Value.”, “It’s A Family Tradition”, “We Build Dreams” and the new one which is “Feel The Rush!”
Plus there may be a few more we are overlooking, which we ran briefly and dropped?
“Feel The Rush!” is for getting the attention of the newer generation and a different segment of the market.
Coke is no longer the “Real Thing!” And Pepsi proved that to them with their new hip advertisement campaigns.
This is no different!
Just like this,
BCB
You will see more BCB and Feel The Rush and still using the older logos.
We will put up a piece on the 35th logo for it’s own topic to explain that direction so every one will read it.
We meant to do that, though we forgot. You reminded us!
Thanks,
BCB
Plus there were a couple more tag liines going back to the early 70’s
