urethane removal

My P2 came factory rigged with the two troller batteries on the starboard side behind the oil tank and the cranking battery on the port side. It is impossible to visually access the rearmost troller battery to check fluid levels. I even bought a dental mirror but it does not help. The double tray needs to be port where access would be easy and the single needs to be starboard. I am reluctant to try and pry the trays and remove them to change sides. My experience trying to separate surfaces that have been urethaned (PL 2) is that it is difficult and there is always some surface damage because of the powerful adhesion. This rig is brand new. Another option would be to just order a single tray, install it port side, and move the batteries. Any advice would be helpful.
