That sucks! Some pros (like Alton Jones) were pretty vocal about not liking co-anglers. Alton will like you know as soon as you step in his boat that he dont like you there. Im sure there are others. Davy Hite a super great guy to fish with. So how they going to keep them honest? Who wants to be an observer when the weather is bad.

Some that arent winning will always have a complaint. Doesnt seem to be affecting KVD! Maybe it is though. Instead of KVD cashing a check in all the tournaments, maybe hell win them all now!

Hello Phil, you have mail…… I think if they have observers only, BASS/ESPN is going to have to figure out something for the back of the boat. I dont think theyll be able to keep charging an observer an “entry” or “observer” fee at the present price. Hard to justify sitting in back of the boat for 8 hrs with someone that doesnt like co anglers or observers. For some of those back enders, that is a couple of local tournament entry fees with less travel/expenses. I know that it can be educational, but there is something about keeping the sport fan friendly, getting to cast out of the same boat as a touring pro. They could do like UMF…”over the line!”.
