Some Mercury dealers have demo props you can borrow. The props are marked DEMO on the side, but dealers have these to attract potential buyers.

Thanks Dr. Jag. I wish I was closer. Right now I am torn between the Fury and a new Bravo XS Dual PVS prop. From everything I read the Bravo has better holeshot, lift, and load carrying abilities. The Fury has better top end. Just trying to see which one is better for my application prior to buying one over the other.

Does the 24 Fury provide enough lift for a loaded Cat? My P3 (19 ft 3in) needs a big holeshot improvement especially in the summer. Generally my load is full live wells, 40 gal plus of gas, 13 combos, 12 3700s, a tub of plastics, 3 batteries, Fortrex on bow, me (300lbs) and a partner (200lbs), and twin powerpoles.Engine is brand new 2015 Pro XS.

I run a 24 pitch fury on a cougar ftd with a 250 optimax. Three to four second holeshot and Ive been 77 mph top end. Two power poles loaded with gear.

Post your results if you try a 24 I have a p3 with 200 merc running a 25 fury great holeshot running 71 on top end at 5400 rpm
