Dry weight on the Eyra is listed as 1715. Well today the crew weighed up John Crewss new rig and it was a strip without the trolling motor and graphs, it terms as a true “dry weight” boat. It is a completed stock build and the vendor parts were not installed yet. Yes it did have seats, windscreens and all accessories we supply. The rig weighed in at 1720 and the gang at BCB is apparently hitting on all cylinders when they manage that.BCB

Very fine job as usual. I wonder how much the different colors with more or less flake can add to or take away from the weight. Im thinking its pretty minimal like 25 lbs or so but I may be wrong. Add another console and thats another little bit. I can only hope that when my new one is built later next year (hint) it is as accurate. Ive heard they weigh a tad less when built in the winter versus the summer?

That is usually accurate for most production fiberglass, though not in our case.

That is usually accurate for most production fiberglass, though not in our case. As for color that is minimal also and is a larger impact than temps for a BCB.
