How do you turn the lights on with the Yam dig gauges that came on my 2010 puma ftd?I try to figure this out every morning and I forget to ask until the next morning when I wish I had lights.
It should be either with ignition or Running lights. If they are not connected we will look into it. Though they should come on through the ignition usually.
My lights dont turn on with the ignition or the running lights (I am assuming you mean the Nav lights?)The only way they come on is if I push a button on the gauges and they stay on for about 10 seconds and turn off.The Jack plate gauge lights up with the ignition or master switch one though (cant remember).I also tried to hook up my gauges to my humminbird GPS (with the labled “to hum black gps, and to hum white gps wires from your factory) so it would show the MPH and other features but it does not work. Any suggestions?
I have the same issue with my Puma FTD with Yamaha SHO. The tach and trim gauges dont light up so Im running in the dark with most of my dash gauges. Larry Brumley
I know on other gauges I have had there is a separate power wire that goes to the gauge for the lights. I will warn you, the Yamaha gauges are dim compared to everything else, but at night they are readable.Steve
