Lowrance wifi = why ever buy a big unit ever again?

So...If you can buy a touch 7($1300), hook it up to gofree wifi from lowrance($250), transmit it to any tablet you already own ($0)- why would anyone ever buy a large unit ever again?Much less if you buy two touch 7s for $2600 and use tablet in front or back? Heck you could use two transducers on one head unit and save even more right? Just move the tablet?I am missing something right?C.O.D. Jr. III

Nope, we think the big screens are overrated. Then again, its a complex issue. BCBPS: Two (2) Touch 7 units on the dash and two (2) Touch 7 units at the bow. $5200 total and 14″ of screens front and back. One GPS &/OR SI, one DI & Sonar.

How can you see an iPad in the sun? I have tried to use mine on the water with saved sat images and it doesnt cut it.

Yeah i hear the sun is a problem but I gotta believe between apple, samsung, microsoft, lenovo and others gonna fixt that as tablet prices decline and graphs go up.Also I figure if you use a good mount that issue is manageable at the console.C.O.D. Jr. III

I have Navionics on my cell phone and I can read it in the sun just fine.
