I was a little skeptical – until I had fish following the speaker at 1000 islands. I honestly would not want to fish a derby without mine. Even if it only gets you one more bite a day, that could make a HUGE difference in your weight.
I have an ultra sonic unit, thats befoe hydrowave took over, and its the for real deal. Gets the baitfish active which gets the bass to movin. As K Short said, even if it is one bite, that could be the deal breaker on tourney day.
It puts sound waves into the water imitating wounded / schooling bait fish. I have one and you will see things in the water that are not not normal. Yes the baitfish do get active. Does it work? Your guess is good as mine and you will never be able to prove whether it does or not. Like said above, one bite can be the difference from getting paid and going home with your tail tucked between your legs. I will never be without.
I was watching Bass Elites on Okeechobee before church this morning and noticed Chris Lane had it on his boat in the shallow grass. I think its well used at that level with little or expected fanfare besides KVD and Kriet commercials. Ill eventually get one.
I use mine on the AR river. Cant say it works or doesnt, but I have seen fish breaking around me that I havent seen before. I didnt get mine till mid summer, so I cant say if its working this time of year. Did seem to fire them up!
Kshorts statement to Dbasket 2 years ago was the best Ive heard- paraphrased..”Not sayin it will win you a derby but I am sayin youre likely to get your butt kicked by a guy who has one”C.O.D. Jr. III
I have had one for a year and half. I have no proof whether it works or not, but I always turn it on. I might do better putting a little Led Zepplin or The Who or Jimmy Buffet on which would keep a smile on my face. I would like to think it works from time to time.George George
Ive had one for the last three years. Does it work? Your guess is good as mine. If you get one, then you have to decide which sound is best. Is there any way to determine this. No. Once you find a sound that you think is working, then you have decide if the delayed sound is better than the continuous. Then you have to determine the volume. Would I advise on purchasing one for yourself? No and the biggest reason is you will never no whether it is actually working. Save your $300 and put some gas in the boat!
