Carpet Protection

Has anyone used a scotchgaurd type product after cleaning the carpet you can recommend, or is it a waste of time.ThanksRodney

I use it all of the time. Any of the 3M products seem to work well. If you spill a can of pop it simplifies cleaning it up along with red clay. It takes about two cans to do a Pantera Classic.

I used 3m yesturday and the carpets look great, thanks for your reply. Puma takes three cans.Rodney

I would also recommend using an adhesive film for temporary carpet protection. It can be adhered prior to taking the boat out and will protect against spills and stains then can be removed once back at the dock. It is a low cost method for providing extra surface protection to any carpet. http://buildsitepro.com/home.asp
