Thanks for the responses! I finally figured out how to disassemble and remove the disc brake assembly. The REAL challenge was upon disc brake re-assemby, aligning the two bolts that hold the caliper housing and shroud together, WHAT A MAJOR P.I.T.A.!!!! Got all four hubs off, cleaned and re-packed the bearings, and installed new seals without destroying anything…..I think. I bought one of the those plastic bearing hand re-pack devices and it worked great, definitely worth $25 Anyone else considering re-packing their wheel bearings should plan on using and losing at least three good hand towels and yesterdays newspaper to clean-up all of the greasy goop! Got all four hubs done in five hours. Had it not been for having to wrestle with the disc brake assemblies, three hours could have got the job done. I was initially intimidated by the whole do-it-yourself bearing re-pack idea/project, but now consider myself a Jr. Expert. Glad I took the time to get up-close and personal with my trailers bearings/hubs should I or anyone else I travel with have a problem on the side of the road, Ill now know what to do.
