BCB can you please email me the cost to add a lighting bolt bright red metallic gelcoat on my 2012 Basscat puma ftd. Presently the lightning strike is the same color as the side which is silver metallic I want to have it added as a bright red metallic and also run the same bright red metallic pinstripe above the top cap above the rub rail following the natural contour of the boat. That is not a feasible job in cost on a boat which has been produced. It would be very expensive.

You could have the boat wrapped much cheaper than what you are trying to do.

Probably 10k at a really good fiberglass shop.

sounds like its time to order one just like you want. the cost of doing that job will easily be $10k. that would go a good distance on a new one once you sell this rig.the vinyl deal would be a great thing to try and from any distance, you really cannot tell.

I had a thin red pinstripe added to my Cobalt. Has held up very well (3 years now) and has to be much cheaper than trying to add it in the gel coat.Talk to a reputable sign or graphics shop. They should be able to help.
