Boat Shipping

If you are looking to ship a boat that you have purchased I found a link online called uShip that will allow you to place and ad on their site and receive bids for the shipment of your boat or other items. You access their website complete a profile with a picture of the item you want shipped and you begin to receive bids for the shipping. I placed an ad yesterday and have received 4 bids the lowest is $1.09 per mile the highest was $1.32 per mile. This is more reasonable than I found by calling around. The website is http://www.uship.com/ This process was quick and easy and they give you 10 days to receive bids for shipping. Then you can accept or decline. The shippers have profiles with performance reviews so you are able to evaluate those bidders.Garry Hagins

There are some great guys on there. I had my BBQ Pit flat bedded from Tx to AL. I did not take the lowest bid but the highest rated guy. It was nice to GPS track him online to watch his progress and keep up with my shipment. I had a great experience with U-Ship. But like anything else use common sense and ask questions.

Man U r a lucky man to get PAs boat. Doug found a guy dead heading back across Country and he just towed it. I had bearings repacked after crossing Mohave in July and its been great since! Id just lay it out for bids and do like Chet said.C.O.D. Jr. III

I think that I cant go wrong with Phils boat. Good colors and options at a fair price. Everything I have seen on his boats is he takes immaculate care of them and has a good reputation. His boats usually have low hours also from what I heard.
