My 04 Sabre does recirculate

I have an 04 Sabre and knew that it had a airiation system but was going to put a recirculation system in which would require another pump and switch. To my amzement, it was still pumping water after I pulled the boat out of the water. Now I am not as worried about trailering to the weigh-in. I guess that there is some kind of flapper valve or something. Could someone please explain how this is happening and is it possible to make it recirculate while on the water? Elwood, I have a 2001 Sabre and once you open the valve to allow water in, my system has a button I press to add water and then a recirculate button as well. I just have a three position switch that has a timmer on one side and manual fill on the other. Down below the seat I have a lever for the drain. Nothing fancy. ElwoodElwood…..Bass Cat Proud

The valve is a Recirc when you run and trailer. It is a combination when it is sitting on the water fishing with a 60/40 mix. There is some information better describing this than we can add. It is in the FAQ Section. You can add a recirulator pump. Some boats have the switch on the dash, and no pump installed, they will also have a fuel tank switch and no dual tank operation on some. Thanks BCB, I went to the FAQ and found the thread and it explained it very well. I think that I will give the system a try as it is. So far I am 2 wins for 3 tournaments and no dead fish. During the winter months here I dont think that I will have any issues with keeping my fish alive but the real test will be this coming summer. Thanks for a great boat. ElwoodElwood…..Bass Cat Proud
