GAF AWARDS

Well, first let me thank bcb for the hats and goodies, and H2O Sports for their contribution. All of my bunch are still wearing em. Now to the awards. Its been long enuf and Ive had time to think about these. I feel that the following are duly noted: The awards go to: For the best boom box in their boat-sound system--Randy -Lil Hog Face-Head. This thing can be heard from the Red River all the way back to the Y in Bayou Pierre. The award for the person who can only catch One Fish at a Time---we all know its Gary Gould--of course it is hard to fish out of the boat when your partner is on high troller--it makes your worm skip across the top of the water--as we all could hear from our boats as Gary was fussing at PA . The award for the most dirty boat--This was a hard one--I think Ill leave this one alone. The award for the cleanest boat--well this is a no brainer---Poor ole Worm didnt have time to fiish or enjoy himself--he was too busy cleaning Robins boat--next year come fish with me--I wont have you wash mine but once. The award for the best guide service--duly noted at www.hug-a-root.com goes to none other than our own _________--you guys fill in the blank-- but something tells me he really did not want this award. The award for the Kick Everyones Tail Award---well -this one goes to the two who did just that--Sam and Joey--and I hope this is the last year they receive this one. The award for the best overall cook--who could guess this one---Thanks to our cook--Doug--all hope this one is a repeat next year. The award for the person who missed their partner the most--and had to call home to check in award--this one is a tie between Ward and Justin--poor souls--(just teasing boys). The award for the biggest LSU Fan--Go get em Sam--you got it-----And last- but not least- the most improved award goes to --none other than Tideman-----not only did he hold his tongue during the game-which none of us did--but he also told me(in an indiscrete way) that he really liked the trailer protectors(skinz) with the LSU logo look on the side of his trailer. Something to the effect that it added a bunch of class when the logo covered the tideman sticker. If I have forgotten any award--please feel free to add to the list. Whew…just glad to not be awarded anything. That is definitely a list you can stand to be off of Luke…I can wait until we do it again bud.

Good job Luke ! The only thing i wish to ask is if ole Sam used his secret hand painted special “Left Boy Rogue” to catch his fish ???I know you remember that story ! I bet he doesnt even have one in his boat after his “incident” ! He sould use Wards hemostats,,,,and a mirror ! Also, now that he mentioned it,,,,,,,the best running boat with a Tempest prop award goes to Ward,,,,since Judd didnt have one ! And i believe Judd got the “Pig Out” award. He put a hurtin on that tenderloin ! That boy must not eat much at home, or his wife cant cook as good as me and lil Luke ! Yep-I forgot that one—–The award for the butt with the most hooks in it–and the sorest tush—goes to ole Sam–if anyone is ever around Sam–you have to have him tell you about this award–PRICELESS——

Guys, some things just hurt to much to discuss more than once a year.. Thanks for the awards, I didnt think I would get that many- kinda like senior day at school.The pig roast was by far the second best thing at the affair, the first was the sincere friendship and hospitality shown by LAD.Never thought you other guys were that nice, being what I read on this site all the time. Youre all a great bunch of guys and Im mighty proud that so far you have let me be a part of your GAF. Keep up the BS and take care on the water!! Sam, you also deserve the award for fishing so hard like you did. Stood toe to toe and cast for cast with me all day long. Not sure how you do it sometimes but is a pleasure to spend the time we do and have together on the water.Take Care buddy. The job is going pretty good. Best thing about it, is only 15 minutes from home. Will shout at you later over the weekend or the first of next week.Joey
