Thanks, was tough to watch the ENTIRE game……..one drive with less than 4 minutes left, move the ball impressively downfield and score. Then watch as Auburn moves again into field goal position. The Hogs didnt give up a touchdown and was in the game despite the bland(once again) offense. After the game HDN said “….and we had one good drive that scored- I thought that would be enough.” ARE YOU KIDDING ME? We saw all day long, all season long, one score is NEVER enough. Then we put Monk in on ONE play! Our top receiver, recovering from a knee injury, ONE play. The ONLY play he has been on all year. If I were him, that knee would be sore for the rest of the season…no sense damaging it and missing a pro contract for one play. For one play, hold him out another game, then get him in next week! The defenses are only going to get tougher and trying to do “just enough” to win not only ruins Heisman hopes, but could damage careers and cost millions in terms of pro contracts. Oh, and I did see the Alabama game…guess we have to face the music with Ole Miss soon enough. That was a good game and congrats on pulling that one out. It was a disappointment for Arkansas, and a let down for Auburn as well. The game was lacking execution and mired with errors and critical penalties. Both teams had errors and both special teams had mistakes on both sides of the ball. Those are critical momentum drivers if they finish then play, fumbles and bad kicks were let downs for both teams. No one team won, they just survived. The end of the game Zone style ~ Prevent style, defense is hard to watch allow those allowed first downs eat us up again though. The game is won when you walk to the field house.
