Is Teal Point close enough to boat to take off point in OI?

Yes it is…just made my reservations Tuesday.

Made mine too. Anyone that has stayed there before can you tell me if it is alright to leave boat at the slip overnight or is there a rule not allowing us to leave boat on the water?

Teal Point Resort is a great place to stay. This will be my 11th year in a row there. It is only about 5 minutes from the launch site by boat and right off hwy 62.Call Karl or Regina at 870-492-5145 and tell them Jerry from PA recommended them. Always neat and clean and quiet with a family atmosphere. They also have covered boat slips. I just made my reservations today.

It is OK to leave boat in slip overnight. They have electrical hook up for each slip. Just plug her in and go have dinner.

I was getting ready to ask everyone where to stay and seen tealpoint on the board so I looked it up seems really nice made my reservation.This is my first OI cant wait to meet all of you.Does anyone know how long it takes to get there I live in Illinois close to Saint louis MO.
