The 250 SS at Dealer Meeting was set up on the previous Saturday with a 29 Tempest and was a great machine. They revisited the propeller combination to get away from Mercury propellers and the rev limiter. That was a huge mistake, as the engine did not perfrom to its potential during the meeting. We have run all of these four strokes, and several Verados, the new Yamaha just out, 4 of the new Suzuki 250 SS engines and a few of the Hondas. They all have their differences and their positives. Though we do not want to see any engine get a reputation that it is not something it is. Such as Verado being revised, and more fuel efficient, because it is, or the Suz not having a hole shot, because that 4 litre does have torque if propped properly. BCB
