I have used the reel for Frog fishing, as well as deep cranking. Its a 9 cosmetically and a 10 mechanically. The reel has had light use, and has been serviced regularly. This reel qualifies for Shimanos 72-hour turnaround service plan, and thats really a nice perk. Shimano stopped making the TE series (gold reels), so get it while you still can. Retail was $349.
