Brand New Boat – NOCO problem

Just brought my brand new Caracal home from the dealer prep. Plugged in NOCO charger and no lights. Inline fuses at each battery are fine. and yes I do know I have 115VAC at the charger.

I just had to replace mine when the cranking battery Bank went dead.It had worked, then stopped.

Maybe your batteries are dead. Charge with a portable charger and then plug in and see. Otherwise your charger is bad.

Found a loose connection as well as a fuse that had one of the spades on it broke. Replaced fuse and tighten loose connection. Plugged back in and works great. After about 10 minutes all lights went to green.

The Noco in my PIV doesnt light red on the cranking battery but will light green after awhile. I just replaced my cranking battery 2 months ago because it was dead. Hope its just the red led not working.

My NOCO works, on my 2015 Caracal, but the lights are very faint, both the red and the green lights.

We suggest switching leads from and to another battery, to make sure the battery and charger are compatible on that lead of your NOCO.Last edited by Bass Cat Boats on May 9th, 2016, 10:56 pm, edited 1 time in total.
