Could anyone share some info regarding Lake Conroe, just looking for what baits people are catching the fish on? Im not looking for spots, just whats recommended this time of year. My son and I cannot figure this lake out. We tried shaky heads, drop shot, jigs, brush hogs, deep diving crank baits, lipless crank baits, yesterday and couldnt catch a thing.Its our first winter fishing Conroe out of a boat and had only fished the north end out of kayaks before this year.Weve only been fishing the south end of the lake the last few months and havent been up both of Stowaway but thinking of fishing more north. But, I know thats not our issue because we know plenty of people that are catching them south of 1097. Are docks any good this time of year or are we better off staying away from the docks? Thank.
