Hey folks,The Puma I just bought has a 998 at the console and an 898 already rigged at the bow, so my 898 is up for sale. Everything is included – head unit, cover, transducer, cabling etc. Works perfectly, never had any issues with it. Its a heck of a tool!$700 is the price. Ill need it to keep gas in my new Cat as Im sure Ill be spending a lot of time on the water once lakes up here in MN open up! OK just fired up the 898, and for the life of me I cant see where I can find the number of hours on the unit! If anyone can help me out, I would appreciate it. Failing that, Id be happy to take video of me starting up the unit so that you can see its in good condition and everything works etc. Just let me know.

We are unaware of number of hours being an option.

Thats kinda what Im thinking…I looked through every setting, every menu, and it didnt have that option anywhere.

During startup, press the menu key to get the startup options menu. From there, select system status. From there press the view key until you get to the self test screen. The self test screen displays some useful information including the hours on the unit.
