change from three blade to four blade (HELP)

2007 PUMA– 2007 VZ 250 YAMAHA WHAT FOUR BLADE DO I NEED. NO TWO PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME ANSWER. I DO NOT KNOW MY TOP RPM,S. HAVE A 25 THREE BLADE ON NOW.

I am no expert on props but I am making the switch from a 3blade to a 4blade. From what I have gathered. The 4blade props will help out on your hole shot, and handling in tight turns. Where as the 3blade seem more for top end speed. For me I was running a 25p Tempest (3blade) and I have a poor hole shot but great top end speed. With the lake size (pretty small compared to south/mid west lakes) I can give up some top end for a better hole shot. I went with a Trophy Plus 4blade. Hang in there some of the other guys will jump in and help out more.Another thing is you will get more responses if this is posted on the Owners Board.

It would help if you had some numbers as far as rpms, engine height, water pres., etc… What are you looking for as far as better hole shot, faster top end. You can give Bass Cat a call or shoot them and email to Parts and they can probably give you an idea to where to start as far as Pitch, and prop model.
