I have been all over this thing trying different options as they have arrised. I just had the Atlas hydraulic J/P installed and went back out to the lake with the 26 Fury prop installed on it again. I pulled all but one small plug and tried it, it has the best results by far. The bow doesnt lift to horribly high like it did before and when it breaks over the blow out is minimal. Mid range is still not optimal but the 26 Fury is a very stiff prop. With a 25 Fury I think it would be very nice in the mid range but maybe give up a tad on the big end. It has taken a lot of trial and error and more bi—ing than most wanted to hear. I have finally found most of my answer thanks to a lot of people that know way more than I do (I want to make it perfectly clear, a lot of the performance woes were of my own doing). I hope this helps some of you others that are in the samne boat that I was in. My quest still goes on for the best performing prop for me. With the windy waters I have here in North Texas the best hole shot and mid range prop is going to be very hard to beat, I have only had two opportunities to open it up due to the windy waters, my best run so far 79.1 and was still climbing but I ran out of calm enough water for that speed.
