Welcome Steve. Bass Cat has a number of different models that you should fit into just fine. Caracal, Cougar, Puma, Lynx, Jaguar are all good choices that you should fit into. I dont own one of those models but Im sure that someone will be along shortly to give you the information you need. Im also only 5 8″ so I fit nicely into the Pantera 2 that I own. Someone your size will definitely fill you in.
Im 6 3″ and 265# and the Panteras fit with no problem – you might be better off without the “hotfoot” possibly as it will take up a little leg room on the right leg. I had an 02 Pantera Classic and fit easily but one other thing, make sure it has tilt wheel, that you will need. There are several models of Panteras that should work well, 19 to 19 6″.
My “baby” is 65″ and about 220 and has absolutely no problem sitting at the wheel of my Lynx. Bob is right though in that you may want to skip the hotfoot as it might get in the way.
I have had a 91 Pantera 2 and have a 2001 Jag now. I am 64″ 280, no problem getting behind console. Cant speak to a Hot Foot, never had one
You little fellers oughta sit back easy in a BassCat . — Im 68″ and weigh in at 300 lbs . — More than enough room in my 99 Classic , but no hotfoot for me . — Never did like em much .
I have a 2015 Caracal and I’m only 5’11 but man there is a lot of room and I have to really reach to fully depress the hot foot…
Im 64″ and tip the scales just a bit over 300. I have a PII and I am completely comfortable in it with a HotFoot. I also have experience in a Cougar and Puma. All are fully capable of handling men of extra stature comfortably. I cannot speak first hand about the Caracal, but I would bet it would be as good or better than my PII. I looked at almost every brand available and I can say only a few (very few) are comfortable to me. You will love the Cat.
