Roller boo boo!

Got in a little hurry and crunched the upper bow roller on one side. It was pretty chewed up anyway so I am planning on replacing with the rubber model (on 2005 Puma). I am assuming the rubber one listed in Parts will work? I remember the post on notching the outer ones to cover up the brackets but do nor remember what was used to slice the rubber?

I did it with a razor blade or razor knife, but be careful. It would be easy to slice a finger in the process. Just take your time and youll do fine. It really does improve that roller and protect your boat. KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

I used an exact blade on the outline of the roller supports and then used a very sharp wood chisel to get the exact depth. When it was finished it looked like it came that way from the factory, best mod I could have done, going to be doing my buddys Stratos trailer as he has tore up the keel of his boat in the same way!!

BTUNE, I agree. It would be nice if some roller company could make these up for BCB owners. Perhaps BCB could look into this and offer them??
