Im contemplating selling my Margay (but just so I can upgrade to another Cat), and I need help with where to start on the asking price.The boats an 88, has the original 70hp Merc. and BC trailer. I just recently replaced all the carpet, installed new white-faced gauges, put new weatherstripping under the hatches, wet-sanded/ buffed/ waxed the cap, added a 6″ man. jp, added a 24V MG, and it has HB and Garmin electronics (but no GPS). Runs out around 32-33 loaded (handheld GPS), and Ive had it to 36 very light w/ just me. Its definately NOT a rocket! The trailer has new tires, but it needs new paint and Id like to replace the rims. It does have new lights all the way around.NADA says $3395 w/ the options theyd let me select, but that seems low to me. I was thinkin in the $4250 – $4500 range?? I dont want to gouge anybody though, so thats why Im asking. Whats it worth, and what can I realistically expect to get??
