I have one on my 2013 P2 and its between12-18″higher than the motor.I would need to measure it this evening to give you an exact dimension.FYI…dont forget the Tilt Bracket and in-line disconnect plug.
The Talon is approximately 10-1/2″ above the motor as it sits in my garage, not fully tilted down. It would at least be 12″ or more tucked under all the way.I included a picture of the Tilit bracket before the Talon was attached and how close it is to the boat.The
I know this a kind of on old tread, but im trying to decide how to mount some talons on my puma. Any way you could post a pic of the mount to jackplate side, so I can see how you sandwiched it?
I have a 2015 Caracal and I used the PowerPole Bracket that they call a braced bracket. Its a 2 pc design that Bass cat uses for 10 ft Blades. The Minn kota Talon will bolt right to it and it clears the ladder and the outboard.
