Watch your lunch at Little Rock

Just had to post a funny story about fishing the river Friday. I had a club tourny out of Alltel Sat. and luck was with me, won our tourny and big fish. Now the real story, I put in at Alltel about 4:30 fri evening and packed a cooler full of water, Diet cokes and 2 ham sandwiches. fished until dark and started to retie everything for the morning and then decided to go ahead and refresh the boat cooler a left the 5-day cooler in the back of the truck. When I went for sat. lunch everything but 2 bottles of water was gone. I would of just like to saw someone sitting on my tailgate having a feast of ham and diet cokes. I know better to leave something in the back of the truck but was in to big of a hurry to catch some fish.

NEVER leave anything of value in your vehicle ,,,,,Especially in the Little Rock area, or for that matter anywhere else ! I got in a hurry one day while towing with my little regular cab chevy, and had my 120 quart cooler in the back with an ample amount of two different brands of adult begerages. upon my return to the truck, the cooler was there, and so was the miller product inside,,,,but the “Bud lite” was gone,,,all of it ! Not many places will you find such discriminating theives ! D.

GEEZ, I HEARD THAT THIEVES HAD CHANGED THE NAME FROM ALLTEL RAMP TO THE “TELL ALL” RAMP-TELL ALL THEIR FRIENDS ABOUT THE FREE DRINKS IN THE CHEVY TRUCK .SANDWICHES, BEVERAGES,(JUST NO BOTTLED WATER ). SOME PEOPLE HAVE GOT “STONES” TO DO THAT AT THAT RAMP. I couldnt believe they left the cooler, it was a pretty good one. I would give up a few more sandwiches and cokes for another good day of fishing though. The FD had a tourny Sat and BCB was represented well, I would guess over 1/2 the boats were Cats. I think it was over 17lbs to win. I only posted 11lbs. Couldnt cull a poor 12″ Kentucky.

I heard it was a nice tournament—my brother and Joey Hurley took fourth place Saturday. The “Bumblebee” Cougar FTD/250XS(the “real” beast ) brought in 13+lbs. I didnt know who had that boat but it is a head turner. I guess Im getting old because I looked at the boat a lot more than I did the Hooters girls.
