Loading BCB models on the trailers

We have had a few newer BCB owners recently have issue with loading. The 20' models are the most common, and those are the most likely due to the length. The Sabre is the least likely and again the length factors in this. The loading of a BCB model is best handled with the bunks slightly out of the water on the outside bunks. The steeper the angle, the less submerged and more bunks should be exposed. The flatter the ramp the more common it is to require the trailer to be submerged. The trailers are the same fundamental design that was built for each base frame up to 2008. In 2008 there was a slight adjustment to the later 20 trailers. Though the prior models are all very consistent with years earlier. Unloading is best achieved by either powering off, or sublaunching the boat with a tad bit of force as you back in. The strap can be loosened some to retain the boat if you are concerned. To launch a BCB model with the trailer too deep will allow the bow to drop and the hull to fall after it clears the roller. BCB trailers are not made to be winched up. They are drive on power up trailers. Those who are trying to winch will most likely be unable to. The The reason for the launch and loading proceedure is the transitional hull which has many anglers. As for this being a more recent item, that is unknown as this basic hull concept has been in production with the same trailer frame since 1984.
