Besides the pvs plugs what is the differance between the a45 tempest and the tempest plus. My 99 p111 200 opti bumps the limiter with the a45 but jumps out of the hole. Top speed is better with the plus but slow out of the hole but I have not run it with the cooler temps. I also have not changed any plugs out it has none in it all holes are open.

Theres probably no difference other than the PVS system. There are subtle differences between each individual prop regardless if youre comparing an A45 against another A45 and comparing an A47 against another A47. All props are a little different.

I know the A45 does have thinner blades than the new Tempest Plus. You may see a little gain in rpms on top end, but I would not expect much it to have an affect on the holeshot. Like Phil said, all props even the same size, brand, and model all have a slight difference to them.
