RICK PIERCE HURT????

I just read on BBC post that RICK was hurt in a boating accident testing one of the boats at the meeting and banged his head real bad. Has anyone heard this?BAYOU BANDIT

A friend told me Rick was in a boating accident and hit his head. He was taken to Baxter County Hospital. Rick, hope everything is ok and your doing better, ourprayers are with you. You need to bring one of thosenew boats out here and fish the US Open with us.

thus so far from what i gather is true! he was in a new couger i think it was and was screaming across the lake at 70+ and hit a bad wave and threw him in the passenger seat! ended up with broken ribs that where seperated from his back and a banged up head! prayer sent out to rick!

Prayers are certainly sent. This is painful reminder that no matter how much experience you have behind the wheel, accidents can and do happen. Always, and I mean always, wear your PFD whenever you have the big engine in gear. Rick – get better soon.
