I had the opportunity to take a father and son fishing today on lake Palestine. Ive had good fish dialed in for awhile on this lake. And decided to try offering guide trips around East Texas. Here are some pics of the first ever Douglas freshwater adventures guide trip. I think they caught around nine total. It was a grind with flurries of big bites in shallow water. The lesson the good lord provided us today was to be confident and committed. They both went home with sore shoulders and big smiles.
