Back of boat storage in new models

I wonder if the ftd deck lids were cut to follow the compartment….. The lines on deck might even look cool and the extra access inches would be nice

The Erya has additional storage boxes in the battery / far back deck area. You may not want to put tackle back there but you can move other items like spare prop, tools, or any heavy objects back there and free up other storage areas. I came out of a Puma FTD and into an Erya. Was able to move those items and others to the far back and free up underseat storage. I put weights and other heavy tackle under my seat and spare fishing line under the other. That left the behind seat storage basicly open now. Sometimes I keep a few spare boxes back there like spoons and extra jigs. If you havent climbed around in an Erya you need too. It has lots of extra little storage compartments which make organization really nice!!Jamey

yes, those back spaces in my 2011 Eyra are very useful. I keep tools, back up troller props, prop wrench, wheel chocks two flat boat bumpers in the space in back left. And I use water proof tupperware (bread loaf size) to keep items that require it dry. In the space on the right side has the oil resivoir outside the fuel tanks and it is raised to make filling almost spill free. Jamey is right, you need to crawl around on and Eyra to appreciate the storage layout. If you get near LOZ 35.5MM you can check my boat. I have a ProXS 200hp instead of 250 and it still touches 70 with no trouble with much improved gas mileage. I am due to replace it later this summer so come on over to take a look.
