Missouri Department of Conservation Discover Nature Fishing School!

Basscat Family,If anyone knows of a child that is interested in getting into fishing and doesnt have an avenue to get there, then spread the word about this fantastic free opportunity. All classes and sessions are free of charge. Equipment, bait, and tackle will all be provided. The instructional lessons will be family orientated and parents are encouraged to attend. We need to get the children involved in the outdoors and get the fishing passion instilled early. Once a kid sees a bobber pulled into that un-known world under the water, they will be curious and hooked...........I still remember my first bluegill on a cricket and thill bobber with my Grandpa. Its one of my finest memories. I will be instructing classes and am very much looking forward to being around these kids and spending the day talking about fishing and fishing also.
