i think you are on target with your prop from my experience with them. learn to drive your rig. make sure you understand how it handles. if you make changes, do them one at a time and keep notes of your results. once you and the boat are happy with each other, i would advise you to have the prop worked by a good shop. there are lots of choices out there. i dont think a stock trophy is the way to go. if you can handle 3 blades and the prop is not damaged then have it customized. rich boger is a wizard with mercury props. his website is http://www.bogerprops.com. it sounds like your rig is set up pretty well. rich is not cheap, but he can make your prop do anything a custom one will do. just have your info together when you talk to him, and tell him what you want, rpms, speed, setback, all come into play. but, i tell you for the money if there is more speed to be had he can put it on the table. call me if i can add anything. phil 901 550 1634
