Arkansas Owners events – list from what we know.

This is the latest information we found on it: Early Spring (Feb. 27) SE AR: Morgan Point (Chicot as alternative if Arkansas River level is high and flowing into the lake)Late Spring (March 27) SW AR: Lake Columbia (near Magnolia, AR) lake level dependentSummer (June 5) NE AR: Horseshoe Lake (south of West Memphis)Fall (Oct. 16) NW AR: Ozark Lake (AR River Pool Between Ozark and Ft. Smith) To show our support and pride of ownership in BCB, I am going to ask everyone to send $30 per team to pay for a T-shirt that I hope I can talk Clothing into prepping for us. If there is an artist among us that would design the shirt, I would sure like to press you into service. After I talk to BCB, the entry fee may go up (or even down) slightly, but we will figure that out. For each tournament, the entry fee will be $25 per team. We will pay 100% back every tournament as follows: # Teams, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, || 1-13, 100%, , , , , || 14-20, 60%, 40%, , , , || 21-27, 50%, 30%, 20%, , , || 28-34, 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%, , || 34, 39%, 27%, 19%, 10%, 5%, || We can have an optional $5 per team big bass pot as well with 100% paid to the winner. I am going to sponsor the BCB Circuit trophy. You dont get to keep it. We will trade it around and add names to it from year to year, if this flys that is! Points will be awarded based upon your finish in each tournament. The winner will get 100 points plus a 5 point bonus. Second place receives 99 points, third 98 points and so on. If you fish but dont catch anything, you get 50 points. Since there will be a trophy and this will be set-up as a team type event, a "team" has to be declared at the first of the season. You can have an alternate fish with either team member if one of you cant go. If you both fish with different people, you have to tell me before the tournament which team members points count for that event. If you dont tell me, you get the lower of the two. There are not many 10 pounders swimming around in Arkansas and I would like to see more. I have only caught one in 35 years. The first person to catch a 10+ pounder during a tournament gets a replica mount on me. No I am not kidding and I will only pay for 1 each year. I will give you $250 cash and expect you to show me a big plastic fish after about 90 days. RULES: Yes, I am a lawyer, so you get rules. Sorry... 1) Simple, we are all friends act like it. 2) You get to weigh 5 fish (largemouth, smallmouth or spotted bass) per team. If AGFC has a lower limit for a particular lake, you only get the lower number. 3) I dont care how many you have in your live well as long as you dont get in trouble with AGFC. 4) Dont kill any fish - you will lose that fish and your biggest fish. BCB makes the best livewells so this shouldnt be a problem. 5) Dont kill yourself - wear your life jacket if you run the big motor above idle and run lights if it is dark. 6) Dont be late, unless I won, I want to go home - you lose a pound each minute and after 10 minutes you are DQd and we will come looking for you. 7) We are bass fishing - no live bait and only 1 pole each. If there is a problem, mechanical or otherwise that will cause a problem just call me. 9) I make the rules, settle disputes (which there will be none), ties, measure and weigh the fish or someone I can con into doing it. If you dont like something, tell Ward or D and they will decide. 10) If you want to be in the tournament, get your money in before take-off. I dont care if you just want to attend and not be in the tournament you just wont be in the money or points. 11) If we have a big turnout, I will randomly assign starting numbers, otherwise it will be shotgun starts. 12) THIS IS FOR FUN, BCB isnt responsible and hasnt sanctioned this in any fashion. I am not responsible nor are any of the people that may volunteer to help this work.
