Hey everyone. I have a 2018 Eyra that has recently had several electrical issues come about all at the same time. The timing of everything makes me think that they are all due to a common problem, but I haven’t been able to locate anything yet. I’ve checked the breakers and all the wires and connections leading to the cranking battery but everything seems to be in order. Here are my issues:
1) The rocker switch at the bow is not getting power (checked with a voltmeter), so I cannot run anything from the front panel (trim, lights, voltmeter).
2) At the console my stereo won’t turn on and I cannot adjust the hydraulic jackplate. Everything else seems to be working OK – all of the accessories on the A10 pad are working, my mercury smart gauges are fine.
3) I have lost the networking on my graphs. I have two Humminbird solix units at the console and one at the bow. All three have power and can run individually, but they will not network. Also, there is a big voltage drop between the two units at the console where one reads 12.5 volts and the other 11.6.
Is there any reason to think that these are all connected to the same underlying problem? If so, what is it? Where haven’t I looked that I need to? Thanks.
Matt
