Start at your battery, make sure all leads are clean, and on the posts tightly. Next check your master on and off switch. That switch should light up when turned on, if not, check your wires from there. A way to check that switch is to pull both wires off the switch and use a volt meter to make sure you have power from the battery, then jump them to see if the rest of the items that you discussed are working, or have voltage to them. It sounds like either that switch or a bad ground.
