Like the title says, I am considering getting a new prop for my 1995 Pantera II with a 1995 Mercury 150 EFI. My current prop is a 24 pitch Trophy Plus. This prop has been worked on a couple times and does not push the boat the way that it did when I got her 17 years ago. Right now she will do about 50 mph at around 5400 rpms and still has good hole shot with the four blade. Right after I bought her, I clocked her on GPS at 60 mph and 5800 rpms. I am considering staying with the Trophy, but have also considered getting a Fury. Does anyone have an idea of what pitch I would need to get if I was going to try a three blade? Also will the Fury fit my engine using the same hardware I am using now with my Trophy? Please don’t hesitate to let me know if there is anything else I need to consider. Thanks in advance.
